Tasmania

As some of you may know, Kadon's birthday and our 2nd anniversary were last week. We went to Tasmania to visit cousins and celebrate. We had so much fun with the Cullis family and wish that we could all live much closer to each other. We got to meet brand new Mr Ewan, and absolutely loved hanging out and playing with Darcy and Imogen. It's so nice that family is family no matter how long it's been.

We hiked Stanley (Sandy... as Imogen said) Nut on Saturday... though Kadon keeps telling me it was more of a walk (I swear he must have gone a different way). The view overlooked the bay and the cemetery "where people go to die".
We had the best fresh seafood for lunner.

Church was nice, everyone we met was so friendly over there. We did, however, sneak out to grab anniversary lunch (Shh don't tell our moms) at the bakery which was also delicious.
We took a big Sunday nap and woke up to a lovely roast lamb (Basically we had some really yummy food) and stayed up chatting with Anna and Devin till we couldn't keep our eyes open (so probs 10 pm).
Monday, Anna took us to Sheffield "The Town of Murals"  while everyone was at school. It was lovely to walk around, we saw some crazy cool art. We also went to a fudge shop and a marble shop where they make glass marbles. I think that was probably Kadon's favorite part. I think Dad Hatch would have enjoyed it.

And then we were home again. I will be so sad to leave this place. We have had such a good time overall, but I trust in the future and I know that wherever we are, we have a promise of happiness. Can't wait to see everyone back home.

Brisbane

We just had a beautiful weekend/couple of days up at Gran's place in Eumundi, and with my cousins Elise and Rob and their gorgeous family up in Brisbane. It's so nice to be reminded that family is family even when you haven't seen each other for years. We all had a fantastic time talking Pokémon and DS with Hunter and Rafe, and Friday the pup is always a hoot. We got to go paddle boarding which has been on my bucket list for a long time - BONUS!
Anyway, we just left Brissy and are now in Cairns - we lead a hard life. Hoping to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef while Mike and Laura scuba dive on Saturday, which also happens to be on my bucket list. Pretty soon I'll be able to die happy... or maybe I'll just have to add some more.
Kadon had a job interview with Uniqlo last week. He thinks it went well and we should hear back by the end of this week - fingers crossed. The job has it's pros and cons. He'd be commuting about an hour and a half to two hours each way every day (via public transport) as it's full time. Full time is great, but I'm worried about his health as, most of us know, it is always questionable it would seem.
Oh well, it will work out. I don't need to worry. Prayers are answered. People change. Miracles happen. The church is true.
Love, KadAnne
